Second Graders Cook Ancestral Foods April 12, 2010

Second Graders  picked vegetables from their Ancestral Garden and cooked fried rice with carrots, broccoli, collard greens, onions, garlic, and sweet peas. They learned how grains are a major part of diets throughout the world, and that each continent tends to grow a different main grain — Asia’s is rice.
